Build Your Own Laurel Denise Planner: Make It Yours From the Start

Maybe you've been using a planner long enough to know exactly what you like. You know how much space you need for your lists, where you want your appointments to live, and which planning tools you reach for every single week.
You probably also know which pages you don't use. You know, those "extra pages" you flip past because they just aren't part of how you plan. Meanwhile, there might be something else you'd love to have more room for.
So what if you could take everything you've learned about how you like to plan and use it to build your planner from the very beginning?
Well, friend, now you can.
Introducing Build Your Own Planner, a new way to create a Laurel Denise planner with the components that make sense for you.
How Build Your Own Planner Came to Be
Funny enough, we didn't originally set out to create a Build Your Own Planner.
We'd been working on our Insert Keeper for over a year, designing a place to keep extra planner inserts organized. But when we finally got it into our hands, we realized something.
Wait a minute. Could we actually build an entire planner with this?
And since you've been asking us for a way to build your own Laurel Denise planner for a long time, we decided to give it a try.
So, How Does Build Your Own Planner Work?
We've made getting started easy with our Build Your Own Planner Bundle, a guided experience that walks you through choosing compatible Laurel Denise products to create your own planner.
You'll start by choosing a 3-month undated planner layout and size. This is the foundation of how you like to plan.
Next, you'll choose your Insert Keeper, which provides the cover and binding that hold everything together.
Those are your two essentials! From there, you can explore compatible inserts, accessories, and other planning tools to make your planner even more you.
Once you've made your selections, you'll assemble everything into a planner that's all yours.
What Can You Build? So Glad You Asked.
Try different planner layouts.
Been curious about Luna but already love Scout? Or wondering if Anne might work better for you than Nancy?
You can try different compatible layouts without buying two complete planners. And since the pages can be moved, you can experiment with what works best for your brain.
Choose how many months you want to plan.
Start with three months or build a setup for six months, a year, or whatever makes sense for you.
Just remember, your Build Your Own Planner holds the same amount as our other Laurel Denise planners. You don't have to keep every month inside at once. Store the pages you're not using and swap them in as you go.
Add the pages you actually want.
Love tracking your reading? Need a place for house projects, budgeting, or meal planning?
Add compatible inserts, Booster Packs, or refill pages to give those parts of your life their own space. You can even move the pages around when you decide something would work better somewhere else.
That's one of our favorite things about this setup. Your planner doesn't have to stay exactly how you built it on day one.
How Is Build Your Own Different From Our Other Planners?
Our prebound planners come with an established layout and included pages, all assembled and ready for you to use. And yes, you can still customize them with extra inserts and accessories!
Build Your Own starts a little differently.
Instead of beginning with a completed planner, you're choosing the compatible pieces and assembling them yourself. You have more say in which pages go inside, how they're arranged, and how your setup changes over time.
A Few Things to Ponder Before You Build
We love having options, but we also want you to choose the planner that's going to work best for you. Here are a few things worth considering.
Do you need interior pockets?
Your Build Your Own Planner uses our Insert Keeper as its cover and binding, and it doesn't have interior pockets. If you rely on those pockets for receipts, loose papers, or other little things, one of our prebound planners might be a better fit.
Do you prefer a pre-dated planner?
Build Your Own uses 3-month undated planner layouts, so you'll need to add the dates yourself. Our Universal Stickers can help with that! If you'd rather have everything dated for you, check out our pre-dated planners.
Are you looking for something that's ready to go?
Building your own planner means selecting your components and putting everything together yourself. If you'd rather skip the setup and get straight to planning, one of our prebound planners may be more your speed.
And if you already love your planner but just need a little extra space for something specific, you might only need an insert or two.
