Home / Laurel Denise Blog / The OMG-You've-Got-To-Try-This List: November 2025
Okay, guys, you only get Lolly's favorites this month because, well, today's the day I need to hit publish and I haven't asked my team for anything. But don't you worry, it's November which means I am loaded with faves.
For the kiddos: Even as tween-y and teenager-y as they are, my girls love to play with what I call doo-dads (I call everything doo-dads) while they are watching a show. Puzzles, for sure, but also just random toys and they are every.where. Everywhere, I say. So I'm buying some cute walnut-ish topped containers (like the ones you put cotton balls in) and setting them on one of our living room side tables. I'm hoping this contains the fun! I will fill the containers with things like this and this and this.
I'm exercising: As you know, I'm two shakes away from a weighted vest, but - for now - I am UB-SESSED with my walking pad. Obsessed. I got this easy peasy desk to go with it. I walked and spreadsheet-ed for 3 hours the other day. It was awesome!
I'm reading: I'm currently reading Piranesi, which Nancy highly recommended. I am in deep and so so very intrigued about where on earth this is going! Next up is Dinner for Vampires and then I'll glance at the two massive stacks of books on the floor next to my bed.
I'm wearing: Y'all, I cannot say enough good things about GenSee eye shadows. They are the dreamiest of dreams and stay on literally all day. Also, still obsessed with this mascara. I also continue to get stopped in actual public wearing these which is such a hoot to me. Also, okay, this dress is INSANE. Insane, I tell you.
I'm writing with: Still the Juice Up 04 for me, although UniBall Ultra Micro is creeping back up.
I'm cooking: El. Oh. El. Literally nothing. If you aren't a pre-cooked meal from Costco, I've never met you.
Current LD Lifesaver: The checklist inserts are literally solving all of my life's problems. I can't take it. I've broken down every single step of things like social media posts, video editing, web page building, planner matchmaking... so that I can do little bits of bigger projects here and there and easily look at my progress. They are amazing!!!
