Frequently asked questions
Every Laurel Denise planner offers a unique blend of daily, weekly, and monthly views to help you stay organized. Some layouts focus on just monthly or weekly views, while others combine weekly, monthly, and even daily pages for more detailed planning.
The Nancy features short weekly pages in the center with horizontal rows, sitting on either side of the coil when the planner is open.
The Anne has short weekly pages in the center with vertical, lined columns for time-blocked scheduling.
The Scout is spiral-bound, with short weekly and daily pages running along the bottom. Each day has a lined vertical column for structured planning.
The Rose doesn’t include short daily or weekly pages around the coil (though inserts can be added!). It offers a large monthly view on the left and space for categorized lists or brain drops on the right.
The Carmen is our most traditional layout, featuring a large monthly planner.

While we don’t offer customizations to the layout or cover (due to production costs and timelines), our planners are still totally customizable, just in your own creative way!
For the inside:
We offer a growing collection of Planner Inserts designed to fit our coil-bound and spiral-bound planners. Whether you need space for detailed lists, lesson plans, project planning, or something else entirely, there’s likely an insert (or booster pack!) that fits your needs. Just be sure to select the insert size that matches your specific planner.
Note: Inserts are not compatible with our sewn/bookbound planners due to the fixed binding.
For the outside:
Many customers personalize their covers with stickers, washi tape, vinyl decals, and even paint, and we love seeing all the ways you make it your own!
We offer a few different formats so you can choose the one that fits your schedule best. Each one includes 12 months of planning:
- Calendar Year Planners (Yearly) – Dated January through December
- Academic Planners (Mid-Year) – Dated July through June, perfect for the school year
- Undated Planners – Totally flexible! You fill in the dates as you go. This one is a great choice if you want to start your month and your weeks on different days or if your life doesn't start on a Monday or a Sunday.
At this time, we don’t offer an 18-month planner. We’ve found that keeping the format to 12 months helps reduce bulk, keeps things more lightweight, and allows us to keep pricing as approachable as possible.
Planning beyond a year? Many of our customers like to keep a second planner on hand for future planning or use our Insert Packs and Sticky Notes to jot down what’s ahead before transferring it into their next planner.

Most of the time, our processing time is 1-4 business days, but during our busiest seasons, it can take a little longer (about 5-8 business days). Occasionally, we offer pre-orders for items before they’re officially available, and when we do, we’ll always share the specific processing and shipping details for those orders in the order confirmation.
Our fulfillment team, based in Utah, works Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PT, and takes a break for all major U.S. holidays.

We want you to love your purchase! Unused, unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping). Just make sure it’s in new condition and original packaging. Sale items are final sale and are not returnable.
Returns are only available for orders shipped within the contiguous U.S.
We’re not able to accept returns from international addresses, U.S. territories, or Hawaii and Alaska at this time.
Start your return through our Returns Portal and we’ll send you a prepaid label once it’s approved. Return shipping is $8 unless we made a mistake or your item arrived damaged.
No direct exchanges, but you’re welcome to return and place a new order. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days once your return is received.
Questions or something arrived damaged? Submit a request (including a photo of the damage) within 7 days, we’ll make it right!
Choosing between a Sunday or Monday start just comes down to how you like your week to begin. A Sunday start places Sunday as the first day in your weekly layout, while a Monday start shifts everything so the weekend is grouped together at the end. Totally up to your planning style!

That’s The Nancy planner, if you don’t need to schedule by the hour but want room to write and separate different parts of your day.
“I must time block all of my day.”
If that’s you, The Anne planner is a great fit. With lined columns, you can plan your day top to bottom by time, by category, or as one big to-do list. Psst...The Scout planner is also a good option for time-blockers.
“I’m more about tasks than specific times, and I love seeing a big monthly calendar.”
The Rose planner pairs a full monthly spread with a four-column layout for tasks, goals, or categories—perfect if you keep your schedule digital, use the Kanban method, or like pulling from a master list based on your time and energy.
“I want a spiral-bound planner with vertical days, but shorter columns that still give me plenty of room.”
That’s The Scout planner, known for its short pages at the bottom and a monthly view that lines up perfectly with the weekly layout.
“I’m an educator and need sections to organize my day by subjects or classes Monday through Friday.”
The Valerie planner gives you five blocks per day. Need more room? You can always split a block or two for planning periods or meetings. If these are sold out, you can choose another planner and add in our block inserts to create a setup that works for you!
“I like to keep it simple, with just a big monthly calendar to see the whole picture.”
The Carmen planner keeps things minimal, great on its own or as a supplement for meal planning and other schedules.

We hear you! The Rose planner is a great place to begin. It's simple, flexible, and easy to build on. You can try adding Horizontal or Vertical inserts so that you can test out which weekly layout you'd prefer.

Don’t stress about finding the “perfect” one right away; sometimes the best way is to start with one that feels right and adjust as you go.
You can check our Restock Page for details on when items might be restocking. As a general rule, once a pattern is sold out, we typically don’t restock it, we try to plan for enough inventory when each collection launches. That said, sometimes we don’t realize just how popular something will be (The Scout, anyone?), and we make adjustments when we can. If you’re crossing your fingers for a comeback, be sure to sign up for restock notifications on the product page just in case!

I’m loving it so far. Still trying to figure out how to use The small Scout without wanting to still make lists outside of the planner. Lol. I just bought some of the stickers and it does help me focus a little better. I’ve already told my friends to look into getting one too! The videos on line are a great help
I love this planner. I really wanted one where I could view the month, week, and daily schedules all at once. The only thing I would change is to get the large size next time. This ended up a little too cramped. Also, could a school-schedule version be made for July to July or August to August?
I'm always trying to find the right planner that lets me organize my stuff, my children's and everything else in the world. With other planners I never end up using the weekly portion because flipping to find the week just made it harder. But having the weekly and the calendar right there. I all of a sudden, feel so much more organized. I can't wait to buy next year's planner!

I really like this planner. It has everything I was looking for (except online student pages) and even some features I didn’t realize I needed. There’s also more space than you’d expect, which is a big plus. I bought some stickers on Amazon to use with it, and they fit really well in the boxes. My favorite part is the bottom section that lays everything out week by week, it makes staying organized so much easier.

I was using the large Scout and liked how it functioned but was too big for me. Was afraid the small wouldn’t give me enough space, but it’s perfect for my needs.
I love this planner!! I can see my entire month and keep a weekly task list all at once glance. Just need a disc bound version so I can add notebook and my whole world will be in once location.
Perfect but, the extra pages at the bottom create an uneven surface to write on. I have a second spiral bound note book inserted from the top to correct this issue. I don't know if alternating the extra short pages makes sense or how to correct this. Movable short note pages?

I am in love... A million out of ten... I ran out of amazing things to say in this language and in my own one (Spanish) Where do I begin? 1. First things first... I ordered my new Scout Planner on Thursday around noon, and it arrived today, TUESDAY! ... Not even Santa Claus on Christmas... Amazing that I didn't have to wait. The faaaaaact that you can see your month and week on the same page, I feel IN LOVE when I saw the first ad that I thanked my algorithm and whoever is on the FBI, another country, or in another planet assigned to follow my phone and content for putting this on my feed. 🥲🤣 It was so perfect that I immediately ordered it and even tho it was the end of February and I got it today on March 3. I’ve been using their planners for a few years now and keep coming back to them! I’ve even tried changing it up with other planners, but ALWAYS end up coming back. I have spent way too much money trying to find the best planner for my life and ADHD. This planner has been the BEST that I have found and I have looked and tried everything. I need the monthly and daily breakdown on the same page. I can track my day job and small side business schedule along with my kids schedule and everything in between. I love this planner! The layout of the month with the partial weeks pages below means that I don't have to flip back and forth between pages. I can easily stay organized. I also love the extra pages that allow me to keep notes and track other ideas. I'll definitely be getting another one for 2027.

I wish I had come across these planners years ago! It’s the perfect planner. The only thing I wish was different is I wish there were some extra notebook pages per month or maybe a section in the back. Maybe some filler notebook type pages that could be popped in. But I love it a will be ordering a 2027 planner without a doubt when the time comes.
I love love love this planner. I got the Small Scout and it is the perfect size to have enough room that I can detail my appointments, but small enough that I can put it in my large purse. I'm using erasable colored pencils to help me see my virtual appointments compared to in person. I love that I can see my whole month at a time, but still have space to mark things in by the hour below. Unexpected things I love? The habit tracker bubbles, the bookmarks, and the grid pages at the back. Will absolutely be reordering for next year.
