HORIZONTAL WEEKLY PLANNERS

Jada has a part time job, helps with the care of her aging parents, and is a Mom to one child. Her life is filled with a lot of care for a lot of other people, meaning her schedule needs to hold information for a lot of different people and her layout is a great way to handle that. Her monthly view holds the appointments she and her people have and she uses a color coding system to organize them. Her left short page is split with appointment details (color coded again) and her daily tasks. Her right short page holds meal plans and house cleaning plans and her running weekly task list that happens in her margins of time. We absolutely love her "packages expected" list and her mini calendar where she tracks her time and pay from her part time job. This is the perfect example of how a planner doesn't need to be fancy to be effective!

Tip from Jada:

Keep it Front + Center

When the Laurel Denise team saw this "Packages Expected" list, we all added it to our spreads! Have you ever ordered all of the things and then played "what did I order" in your entryway? Or, have you ever ordered all of the things and then simply forgotten when something doesn't get delivered only to remember it months later? Same, friend. Same. This list and putting it front + center in the Notes section is so relatable and so useful!
