The OMG-You've-Got-To-Try-This List: February 2025

LAUREL'S FAVORITES
Cute Cart. We've ordered so many of these that Amazon just asked me if I wanted to set up a reminder to order again in a month or two. Not even kidding. They lug all of our accessories around in the office and the little cups on the side are perfection for all of life's doo-dads, you know?

Laundry Detergent. Finally! I have found laundry detergent that is both clean and actually cleans. It's been a lifelong journey and I'm so glad the race is complete. (On a similar note, these Dishwasher Pods are clean and amazing.)

Mini Pottery Kit. This was a Christmas 2024 hit! My 8-year old and I had a blast with this toy. The set up was pretty easy and she got the hang of it on her own really quickly.

Vintage Sticker Book. This little hobby made my brain happy in December. There was so much going on in life, I couldn't really get into any difficult hobbies (like, you know, cooking dinner), but this baby was so simple that it was easy to pick up. Plus the images were so pretty when they were complete!

JENN'S FAVORITES
Everything Bagel Recipe. It’s so cold here in Virginia, and I’m fully embracing my homebody vibes right now! This time of year is my favorite to dive into new hobbies and try out fun recipes. To make things a little more exciting, I started adding a “bucket list” to my planner each month to sprinkle in some joy. This month, baking was on the list, and I’ve become obsessed with making bagels. I even told myself I’m going to start a bagel shop—because who doesn’t have the time for a side hustle, right? My kids devoured the first batch so quickly, they were asking for round two immediately!

Invisalign Case. I’m wearing Invisalign, and after a minor disaster where my trays somehow ended up in the dishwasher (don’t ask), I decided I needed a better way to store them. So, off to Amazon I went and found this adorable case that looks like a little plant! It’s actually a cup with a strainer, so now I can clean my trays and keep everything looking cute in the kitchen. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that sooner!

MABBY'S FAVORITES
Magic Clips. These work for inserting pages into all of our planners!! We were especially excited to see how they worked for our Portrait Planner as we wait for the inserts to be ready!

Banana Fidgets. My littlest got a banana squeeze toy and she is obsessed - we loved it while traveling, hanging around, and she even snuck it into church! We decided to give the mini version to her classmates for valentine's day with a little "i'm bananas about you" homemade card!

Kids Headphones. Another win for my littlest. She gets intrusive thoughts at bedtime and we've been searching for something that will help her (other than me in her bed for such a long time). We cant play stories or calming music out loud because she shares a room with her older sister, so I found this cool headband and she puts on "Bluey Storytime" so she can drift away with the love of Bingo and Bluey and the Heeler family!

NANCY'S FAVORITES
Embracing waking up early: too often I find myself lying in bed in the early hours, wishing I could fall back asleep (I rarely do). But recently, I’ve just been getting up, turning on a light, reading, practicing the piano, getting work done, or exercising. The extra hours in the day are so helpful and the peace of early morning is so precious!

The Wok. My husband got this cookbook and a wok for Christmas and it has changed our lives! Cooking with a wok is new to me, and I’ve loved the mise-en-place prep, the quickness of the actual cooking, and Kenji’s amazing recipes. Would recommend buying this cookbook and a wok for your loved one so they will cook you delicious things!
